mumbai satelite maps shows heavy clouds off mumbai coast, should get heavy showers shortly, agrees with my barometer on watch which shows 993

 

as per my 2 yrs experiance

1000- 1010 = clear weather

998-1000 = few showers

995-998 = heavy showers

991-995 = very heavy showers

895- 991 = cyclonic winds with very heavy rains

885-895 = deep cyclone heading our way

 

if u remember last yr cyclone which brushed mumbai, that time it recorded on my barometer 887....

Chennai - touched a max of 36.7 C (2:27pm).. Now having stiff wind from S-W, Some low cloud formation can be seen over S-W.

Keeping Watch on Typhoon "Ma-on". Soon to become a super Typhoon, and could curve and head straight towards Southern Japan.
Could also change wind pattern in and around sub-continent on curving.
